Two aspects of qigong that make it effective

There are two aspects of qigong that affect health. One is choosing a suitable form or set of movements for your situation. (This is less important.) The second, more important aspect, is the quality of awareness and attention/intention that one has when doing the movement.

Finding a teacher who is able to communicate to you a different quality of awareness and movement than you are currently experiencing is key to improving health - in this case, the health of bone marrow.

There are a number of qigong forms that promote the health of bone marrow. They are related to and derived from each other. One is called 8 Treasures/8 Pieces of Brocade; the other is called Xi Sui Jing/Bone Marrow Cleansing.

In Chinese medicine, bone marrow can refer not just to the physical bones but to the deepest part of our human selves. This deep, non-physical aspect is what we seek to find, to clean and to empower with qigong.

This post is my answer to the question "Qigong for Bone Marrow? If you have leukemia" posted on Teachstreet.
